
Police seek public’s help in Cambridge 401 crash investigation

The Cambridge detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is seeking the public’s help regarding the circumstances of a single-vehicle collision Friday night on Highway 401 that resulted in a male passenger being transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The accident occurred around 10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 401 approaching Townline Road when a black Pontiac Grand Prix left the road, went into the right ditch and struck a light pole.
Two other occupants of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or anything unusual prior to the collision to contact the Cambridge OPP at 519-654-0150.
