Police release video of attempted armed robbery at Cambridge store

CAMBRIDGE — Police have released video surveillance of a man who robbed a Cambridge store with a tire iron last week.

Waterloo Regional Police say a man walked into the Pinebush Road convenience store around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 18 and tried to open the cash register. When it failed to open, the man ran away.
No one was injured.
He is described as white, about 26- to 30-years old, five-foot-seven tall with a slim build. He was wearing black sunglasses, a grey hooded sweater and black pants.
