
Man tries to steal copper wire from hydro pole

CAMBRIDGE — Police are looking for a man they say tried to steal copper wire from a hydro pole late Friday night.
Waterloo Regional Police say a concerned citizen noticed the thief trying to cut the wire from the hydro pole around 11:30 p.m. on Glenview Avenue. When the thief was confronted, he ran away.
He is described as white, about 20 to 30 years old, five feet 10 inches to six feet tall and 130 pounds. He was wearing black clothing.
