
Cambridge Fury beat K-W Rangers in women's hockey

KITCHENER -- The Cambridge Fury hockey team has picked up where it left off last season.
The Fury, which vaulted from last to fourth in 2007-08, are first in the Provincial Women's Hockey League's league with a 9-1-1 record.
Cambridge forward Brittany McHaffie opened the scoring in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Waterloo KW Rangers. She beat Rangers goalie Katie Greenway on a wraparound late in the first period.
K-W then tied the game 1-1 midway through the second, before Katie MacSorley batted the game winner past Greenway with eight minutes left in the game.
